The SpongeBob SquarePants x Nike Kyrie Low 2 “Mr. Krabs” is one member of the special collaboration from the beloved cartoon series and Nike Basketball inspired by Bikini Bottom’s favorite frugal fast food restaurant owner. Nike continues to draw upon Kyrie Irving’s affinity for children-themed pop culture references as each one of the main characters of the hit Nickelodeon television series received a design particular to their personality traits. For the “Mr. Krabs” Kyrie Low 2, red-hot overlays comprise a majority of the upper and midsole. Flashes of money green accentuate bits of the midsole and collar, a nod to the lobster’s love of the almighty dollar.
