The Nike Air Foamposite Pro is a contemporary high top basketball sneaker with a distinctive and futuristic design. First released in 1997, it became popular due to its innovative construction. The shoe’s upper is constructed from a single-piece synthetic Foamposite shell which is durable and molds to the wearer's foot over time. The outside of the upper is molded into wave-like grooves which adds to the distinctive look of the shoes. Distinct design features include a pull tab on the tongue and heel plus a padded collar lining. It incorporates Nike's Zoom Air technology which is designed to deliver targeted cushioning and support.
