The Adidas NMD G1 x The Simpsons Homer Simpson sneakers feature a tightly woven, breathable textile upper with smooth leather overlays on the eyestays and toe cap. A textured leather overlay forms the heel counter. Soft suede constructs the side panel three stripes and heel underlay, while hints of blue accent the mudguard and collar. The white midsole is made of energy-returning Boost enhanced with black EVA inserts. The rubber outsole is grooved for traction and vented for Boost expansion. Distinctly Homer Simpson touches are seen, with his head peeking out from one of the stripes on one side and his hand holding a remote control on the other. Each tongue features his catchphrases, “D’OH” and “WOO HOO.” Released on November 11, 2023, for $120 retail, these are sneakers.
