The Air Jordan 7 Retro OC 'Miro Olympic' is inspired by Dona i Ocell (Woman and Bird), a sculpture in Barcelona by Spanish artist Joan Miró. Releasing ahead of the 2008 Olympic Games, the shoe's inspiration harks back to the 1992 Olympics Games in Barcelona, where Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 7 to a gold medal with the Dream Team and where Miró was born—albeit, almost 100 years earlier. The colorful look also includes a '9' on the heel, Jordan's Olympic number in 1992.
