In August 2017, adidas dropped the NMD R1 ‘Japan Pack.’ This pack features the NMD R1 ‘Triple Black’ sneaker and the NMD R1 ‘Triple White’ sneaker. Both are monochromatic and have a Japanese translation of ‘The Brand With 3 Stripes’ on the EVA plug and heel. This sneaker's black woven Primeknit upper comes with camouflage stripes that are barely visible thanks to the matching jet black shade.
